Bollywood’s famous comedian Rajpal Yadav has been entertaining movie lovers for decades. There was a time when Rajpal was busier and more demanding than star actors. But now he is in jail. Now he is in jail because of the debts he burnt his hands after going to make a movie a decade ago. The court held him guilty in the 9 crore loan and check bounce case. It is said that some people here and there have rushed to Rajpal’s help, but many who have actually received help from him have remained silent.

Yes, Rajpal Yadav, though a comedian, was also a big hearted actor who once fed around 20-25 actors in his house every day. Even though he himself was in difficulty, he was a support to talented people who were looking for work. Many people who came and wandered without getting a chance to make films used to stay at Rajpal Yadav’s house for free and had free meals there. Many people who dined at Rajpal’s house have become star actors today.

Rajpal Yadav, who spoke in an old interview, said, ‘I lived in a small room among the new arrivals in Mumbai. Along with me there were around 20 to 22 boys from my village and friends from NSD (National School of Drama). We all used to cook together. Whether I had money or not, I used to make sure that everyone who came had plenty of food. Even Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has made a big name today, used to come to my house. We all used to eat together and discuss movies. I am forever grateful to God for giving me the strength to feed all of them,’ he said emotionally.

In fact, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui also said this on The Kapil Sharma Show. He said that not only himself but also many people who are in good position today had dinner at Rajpal Yadav’s house. Nawazuddin Siddiqui was with him when Rajpal Yadav decided to leave Mumbai without getting an opportunity in Bollywood and went to the railway station. But after knowing that Rajpal Yadav was leaving Mumbai, director Anurag Kashyap not only stopped him at the railway station but also offered him a role in the movie where he was working as an assistant. Nawazuddin was also given the role of a hotel waiter in the same movie.

Rajpal Yadav made his Bollywood debut in 1999 with the film ‘Dil Kya Kare’. Later, he became recognized as one of India’s greatest comedy actors with films like ‘Hangama’, ‘Waqt’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyya’ and ‘Chup Chup Ke’. His acting in the recently released films ‘Bhool Bhulaiyya 3’ and ‘Dhurandhar’ has also been highly appreciated by the audience.
