Relief for Mahesh Timarodi – High Court canceled the deportation order!

Bangalore: The High Court quashed the deportation order against Mahesh Shetty Timarodi. The Karnataka High Court granted the petition filed by Mahesh Shetty Timarodi challenging the deportation order and issued an order canceling the deportation order.

The bench issued strict instructions to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Puttur, to conduct a fresh hearing of the case and pass a fresh order clearly citing appropriate reasons and sections of law within the next 15 days. Due to this order of the High Court, the fear of deportation on Timarodi is gone for now.

What is the case? On September 20, Puttur Assistant Commissioner Stella Varghese issued an order to exile Timarodi to Manvi taluk of Raichur district for one year. Mahesh Shetty was exiled after 32 cases were registered against Timarodi. Mahesh Timarodi challenged the deportation order in the High Court.
