Request to organize Vishnuvardhan Karnataka Ratna award ceremony

Karnataka Government has announced the Karnataka Ratna Award for 2025 to late Vishnuvardhan, a famous actor of Kannada cinema (Sandalwood). Vishnuvardhan and B Sarojadevi were announced posthumously by the state government. Now Vishnu Sena Committee President Veerakaputra Srinivas and other members have met the new president of Film Chamber Jayamala and demanded that the Karnataka Ratna award ceremony be organized for Vishnuvardhan on behalf of Film Chamber.
