AIADMK manifesto released.
Let us tell you that Palaniswami’s announcements are in line with the policy of late party leader J Jayalalithaa, who had announced the popular scheme of providing free fans, mixer-grinders in AIADMK’s election manifesto before the 2011 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Jayalalitha had started distributing these free gifts on September 15, the birth anniversary of former CM C N Annadurai, when she came to power in 2011. Releasing the party’s election manifesto for the April 23 elections, Palaniswami said the free fridge is aimed at reducing the burden of household work on housewives.
