The meeting of the All India Representative Assembly of the Sangh, which will last for 3 days, started from today in Samalkha, Haryana. During a press conference held in Samalkha regarding the activities of the Sangh, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s co-secretary CR Mukund said that the meeting of the All India Pratinidhi Sabha has more importance this year. This is because the union is celebrating its centenary. More than 1400 representatives will participate in this All India Representative Assembly meeting. After the commencement of the All India Representative Assembly, tributes were paid to the deceased, including Congress leader, former Home Minister Shivraj Patil and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. During the press conference, for the first time the Sangh has given a statement on the ongoing war between America, Iran and Israel in the Middle East.
Sangh’s statement on war in the Middle East
Speaking about the US-Israel and Iran war, Sangh’s co-government Mukund said – “The Government of India decides what the Indian government should do. The Prime Minister of the country, the Foreign Minister of the country are talking to the heads of all the foreign countries. This crisis should end as soon as possible, there should be a compromise. Yesterday also the Prime Minister of the country has talked to the head of Iran. The Sangh is in touch with all the Hindu organizations living there.”
Statement on organizational changes and UGC
Co-government secretary CR Mukund has told that “Organizational change is being considered in the Sangh, whatever will happen will be told later. The Sangh is thinking about the geographical composition, this time also the Sangh is doing the same. Seeing the organizational need, we make changes and this time too we are doing so.” Answering the question regarding UGC, CR Mukund said, “The Sangh was born for the organization of the Hindu society, to remove whatever discrimination there is in the Hindu society. Whatever imbalance has happened, the court has taken cognizance, the government will also make efforts.”
Efforts continue to contact every village
Information was given in the meeting that “There has been a huge increase in the number of branches of the Sangh. The total number of branches has increased by 5000. The Sangh is trying to contact every house, every village. Till now the Sangh has reached 10 crore families. It has reached more than 300000 villages. During the house contact, the Sangh is going to all the houses of the Communist ideology as well as Muslims and Christians in the state of Kerala. In around 55000 Muslim houses, Sangh volunteers visited 54,000 Christian homes and were welcomed everywhere.”
‘Bangladesh should protect Hindus’
CR Mukund, co-secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, said, “The Sangh has organized 36 thousand Hindu conferences so far and more Hindu conferences are expected. More Hindu conferences will be held in 3 to 4 months. The presentation is becoming easier in the Naxal affected areas, the Sangh has welcomed this. The situation in Manipur is improving, the Sangh also welcomes this. The Sangh is requesting the Bangladesh government to protect the Hindus.”
