Pan-India superstar Prabhas, who has a worldwide fan following with blockbuster films like Baahubali, Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, is now backing new talent. Prabhas today officially launched ‘The Scriptcraft International Short Film Festival’ to recognize talented storytellers and give them a global platform.

This revolutionary platform aims to provide direct access to cinema for budding directors and storytellers from around the world. Following are the highlights of this forum.

Opportunity for all: Storytellers from any corner of the world can participate in this competition. Short films of any genre above 2 minutes can be submitted here.

Verdict of the People: Winners in this festival are selected not only by judges, but also based on audience votes, likes and ratings.

Career Ladder: Every film submitted will get noticed by big production houses and will be a great platform for production houses looking for new talent.

With legendary directors: Eminent directors Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Nag Ashwin and Hanu Raghavapudi have supported this initiative. “Short film making is the most important stage of learning cinema. This is the right time to make your dream come true,” hopes Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Nag Ashwin said that he also identified new talents through short films.

Exclusive deal with Quick TV: A special feature of this festival is the collaboration with ‘Quick TV’. It selects 15 outstanding directors, gives them a complete 90-minute script, covers the entire production cost, and helps them release their film globally.
