Senior director says ‘Toxic’ is not a Kannada movie: What is the reason given?

Rajendra Singh Babu, who has given many blockbuster and cult classic movies to Kannada cinema, is still involved in movie direction and now he has directed a new movie named ‘Veerakambala’. Talking to TV9 during the promotion of the movie, he also talked about the much awaited movie and the much discussed movie ‘Toxic’. This time, the senior director, who has seen the movie ‘Toxic’ from a different angle, said that ‘Toxic’ is not a Kannada movie. He also gave the reason for that.

Talking to TV9, Rajendra Singh Babu said that ‘Toxic’ cannot be called only a Kannada movie, it is a movie of national and international standards, and we are all proud of that movie. He continued and said, ‘There is a special value for the hero, there is a wonderful production, 600 crore rupees have been spent. We are all happy that such a movie has come out’ said Babu.

Commenting on the obscenity allegations against the teaser of the movie ‘Toxic’, Rajendra Singh Babu said, ‘It has done a wonderful job. He has done it like no other English movie. Whatever it is, it will not happen if you sit and split your hair, when you do that, you will find one mistake or the other, but it is not right to make it big and neglect the real hard work, we should say goodbye to the effort’.

Yash is an example of how a man can move a mountain if he sets his mind to it. Ten years ago, when we met once, we were talking about movies like this, and Yash had already said, Sir, I will do it, I will make a 250 crore movie. He has done that today, he has gone beyond that’ said Yash.
