In the 36th match of the T-20 World Cup 2026, Indian cricket team all-rounder Shivam Dubey scored an aggressive half-century (66) against the Netherlands cricket team. This proved to be the sixth half-century of his T20 International career and first half-century in the T20 World Cup. With the help of his innings, India, batting first, scored 193/6 after the stipulated 20 overs. Let’s take a look at Dubey’s innings and statistics.

Dubey’s innings was strong

When India lost its third wicket at the score of 69 runs, Dubey came to the crease. Batting in his familiar style at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Dubey took the Dutch bowlers to task. The Indian all-rounder completed his half-century in just 25 balls. He along with Hardik Pandya (30) made a partnership of 76 runs for the 5th wicket. He was out after scoring 66 runs in 31 balls with the help of 4 fours and 6 sixes.

Shivam Dubey’s T20 international career is brilliant

Dubey played his first T20 International match against Bangladesh cricket team in 2019. He has played 59 matches so far and has managed to score more than 850 runs in 44 innings with an average of around 30. He has scored 6 half-centuries with his bat. On the other hand, in bowling he has taken 29 wickets with an average of 26.62. His best bowling performance was taking 3 wickets for 4 runs.
