Bengaluru: Amid the talk of Karnataka cabinet reshuffle, political observers are keenly following the visit of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to New Delhi. Both influential Karnataka Congress leaders are in the national capital to attend the launch of a book written by former Union Minister Kapil Sibal. According to sources in the ruling Congress, the Chief Minister met Rahul Gandhi and held discussions with him. Talking to the media a fortnight ago, the Chief Minister had said that during his visit to Delhi, he had sought time to meet Rahul Gandhi to discuss the cabinet reshuffle.

He had told reporters, “If I get an opportunity to discuss, I will stay in Delhi only or come back on the night of November 15.” Siddaramaiah had also said that he would discuss the cabinet reshuffle with the party high command after the Bihar assembly elections. With Siddaramaiah insisting on completing his five-year term, Shivakumar’s presence in New Delhi has again intensified talks of leadership change.

There will be no ‘November Revolution’
