Stock market closed with decline, Sensex breaks 375 points

Today (July 17) in the stock market, both Sensex and Nifty closed down. Today the Sensex fell by 375 points to close at the level of 82,259.24 points, while the Nifty slipped 100 points to close at 25,111.45 points. Midcap stocks have also seen fluctuations throughout the day. The Nifty Midcap closed at 16,747.45 points with a decline of 28 points until the 50 market was closed.

Gainers loosers

These shares remain the top gainers and louquars

In the top gainers, Sona BLW, Prestige Estate and Balakrishna Industries today performed well with a gain of 6.80 per cent, 3.76 per cent and 3.36 per cent respectively. The stocks of UPL and Metropolitan Gas also gained 3.16 per cent and 2.97 per cent respectively. India Dynamics, Tech Mahindra, Interglobe Aviation, LTI Mindtree and BSE Limited were the top loops with a decline of 3.28 per cent, 2.75 per cent, 2.58 per cent, 2.49 per cent and 2.18 per cent respectively.

Gold and silver price reduced

The Indian bullion market has seen a minor change in the prices of gold and silver today. Today, 24 carat gold is being cheaper and selling Rs 97,370 per 10 grams and if we talk about silver, it is being sold at Rs 1.10 lakh per kg. Till the news was written, DAX and CAC were trading in the European stock market in the international market with gains. The US stock market was on the green mark with 500 gains.
