The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in 19 states till March 24. During this period, winds may blow at a speed of 30-85 km/hour at some places and there is a possibility of lightning.

In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the maximum temperature fell to 25.9 degrees, which was 7.9 degrees below normal, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 17.2 degrees. There is an alert of fog and heavy rain in some districts of the state today. Stormy rains can also be seen in Bihar. In Rajasthan too, due to changes in the weather, the maximum temperature has dropped by 2-3 degrees below normal. There are chances of rain in the western districts of the state even today.

Cold weather starts again in Delhi
There was dense fog in Delhi on Saturday and the minimum temperature dropped by 3.5 degrees below normal to 13 degrees. Even today, smog was seen at some places in the capital. According to IMD, it will be cloudy and there will be no strong sunlight along with cold winds, due to which the weather will be pleasant, but there is no rain alert. During this period the minimum temperature will be 13-14 and maximum will be 31 degrees. There are chances of rain as well as lightning from Monday morning till afternoon.

Snowfall continues in the mountains
Snowfall has occurred in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh for the 5th consecutive day on Saturday, while rain has been recorded in the lower areas. This has caused a huge drop in temperature. There may be some relief from rain and snowfall in the state today, but the process of snowfall along with rain will continue again till March 23-27. There is an alert of light to moderate rain and thundershowers in 8 districts of Uttarakhand, while there are chances of snowfall in the higher reaches.
