Sudharani Ambassador for Nandini Products: KMF Objection

A few days ago, Pan India actress Tamannah Bhatia was made the ambassador for the state-owned Mysore sandal products, which is the pride of the state. Some people had objected to the ambassador of a foreign language actress instead of a Kannada one. Now BAMOOL (Bangalore Milk Union) has roped in Sudharani as the ambassador for their Nandini products. But this was opposed by KMF (Karnataka Milk Mahamandal).

DK Suresh, Chairman of Bamul, met Sudharani and welcomed her as the ambassador of Bamul products by giving her a bouquet. Senior actress Sudharani expressed her happiness about this and said, ‘Nandini has been a symbol of every Kannadigas’ faith for generations. I am honored to be associated with BAMUL Nandini, a farmers’ cooperative. Dr. Following in the footsteps of great personalities like Rajkumar, Shivrajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar, being a brand ambassador is not just an imitation but a responsibility of gratitude and pride.

This new chapter includes many products including A2 ghee, A2 milk made from desi cows. But KMF, the parent organization, has objected to the appointment of Sudharani as Bamul ambassador. Bamul accused the organization of appointing the ambassador in violation of the Bylaws, saying the appointment was illegal. It is reported that the officials of KMF have said that they will seek clarification from Bamul officials about the appointment of ambassador without informing KMF.

Dr Rajkumar was the first ambassador for Nandini’s products. Rajkumar’s promotion of Nandini products made Nandini products a household name across the state. Later Puneeth Rajkumar became the ambassador of Nandini products. Puneeth was also an ambassador for Nandi for free. But her appointment was done by KMF, now Bamool has appointed Sudharani independently which has led to controversy.
