What is news?

Tata Motors is working towards making major changes in its portfolio. The updated version of the new and existing models is part of the scheme. The target is to launch about 30 vehicles by the end of this decade. It is developing 7 new models with updated models. This will almost double the company’s lineup between electric and ICE models. 35,000 crore has been allocated for this.

The new models include Tata Sierra, which will be available in both Ice and Electric Povertrain. Its electric version will knock later this year, while the Ice model will come in the beginning of the next financial year. Apart from this, there is a preparation to bring the petrol variants of herrier and safari by the end of the current financial year, which will get a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. The new models work on the Avinya series and the new compact SUV, which will knock in 2027.
