Tax exemption for the film Land Lord – CM Siddaramaiah’s announcement! – Btv Kannada

CM Siddaramaiah said that he has instructed the concerned authorities to grant tax exemption to the film “Land Lord” directed by Duniya Vijay, which is about social inequality and caste-based exploitation.

CM Siddaramaiah shared a post on social media about this, I feel that movies are the most effective medium for conveying a valuable message to the people, forming universal opinion and achieving social transformation. He said that it is our moral responsibility as a government to stand with such people and pat them on the back when they make a movie about social issues.

He said that we believe that this decision of ours will be an inspiration to make more films like Land Lord which shed light on the social system in the coming days.
