Bengaluru: A strange case has come to light in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Here a thief lodged a complaint with the police that people had beaten him during the theft, hence a case should be registered against them. Sampighaalli Police has registered a case under Section 118 (1) of the Indian Justice Code i.e. BNS and started investigation. This incident is now being discussed in the entire area as the thief is claiming himself to be the victim. The name of the thief who complained is Ajgar Khan, who lives with his family in RT Nagar.
Ajgar Khan steals to drink alcohol and cigarettes
Ajgar Khan earns his living by driving an auto-rickshaw. He told the police that he had a habit of consuming cigarettes and alcohol. These expenses are not covered by the auto earnings, so he steals scrap along with two associates named Razzaq and Shyam and buys liquor by selling the stolen goods. According to the report lodged with the police, around 9:30 pm on January 31, 2026, Ajgar, Razzaq and Shyam reached a house in front of Provident Apartment on Chokkanahalli Main Road in an auto-rickshaw. Python was climbing the compound wall of the house to steal electrical items, when a man and a woman came out of the house and stopped him.
Azgar Khan was beaten while attempting theft
The python attacked both of them and called his companions Razzaq and Shyam. Together, the three attacked the family members, and during the scuffle, Razzaq hit the man on the head with a beer bottle. Due to the breaking of the bottle, pieces of glass hit the woman’s cheek and when she screamed, the neighbors gathered. After this, Razzaq and Shyam escaped in an auto-rickshaw. One of the people who came to the spot attacked the python’s head with a piece of wood, due to which its head burst. The injured python was taken to the hospital, where it was treated.
Many questions are arising in the minds of people after the FIR of the thief
After treatment, Python lodged a police complaint and demanded legal action against the person who had attacked him during the theft attempt. Police said that this case falls in North East Division of Bengaluru. Investigation is underway and all parties will be questioned soon. After this incident came to light, now the question in the minds of people is whether a thief can also call himself a victim? At present, all eyes are on what action is taken in this matter.
