In the movie ‘Bahubali’, Kattappa’s role is as popular as Baahubali, Ballala Devan. Veteran Tamil actor Sathyaraj played that role. Satyaraj is a true villain for Kannadigas. Sathyaraj, who is an actor as well as a former politician, has never before spoken in harsh terms against Kannadigas. But during the release of ‘Baahubali’, he also expressed his regret. Sathyaraj, who appears as a tough guy in movies, is in pain every day in real life.

Sathyaraj has been married to Maheshwari for a long time and they have two children. But Sathyaraj’s wife Maheshwari has been in a coma for the past six years and is a living corpse. Maheshwari suffered a brain hemorrhage around 2020 and has been in a coma ever since. Even the doctors were already in love with Maheshwari. Mahershwari had said that his recovery is impossible. But Satyaraj did not lose faith. Even now he is kept on life support.

Satyaraj’s daughter Divya, who shared a post about this, said, ‘My mother has been in a coma for the past four years (2024 post). We kept them in our house. We feed them daily through a PEG tube. My father has been taking care of us as a single parent for the past few years. We know we will get mom back. We are waiting for that one medical miracle.’

Satyaraj kept his wife alive with the help of medical equipment at home despite doctors’ refusal. Taking care of them. Despite the pain, he continues to engage in film work. Maheshwari made her entry as a film producer in 2018 and produced two films. But everything stopped due to illness.

At first, Satyaraj used to speak very harshly at events and political meetings. Vatal had harshly criticized Nagaraj, Kannadigas and the governments of Karnataka. The actor also made derogatory remarks about Rajinikanth. He had been feuding with Rajinikanth for decades. But last year, Sathyaraj, who broke his feud with Rajinikanth, not only acted as Rajini’s friend in the movie ‘Coolie’, but also accepted Rajini as a real superstar. Satyaraj seems to be maturing as he grows older.
