The NDA alliance has made a huge lead in Bihar!

Counting of votes for Bihar’s 243 assembly constituencies has begun and while the Nitish Kumar-led NDA alliance is poised to retain power, Tejaswi Yadav-led Mahaghatabandhan has put up a strong fight.

NDA is making a century run in Bihar, with the NDA alliance taking a huge lead in 120 constituencies. Mahaghatabandhan has given a tough challenge to the NDA alliance. Mahaghatabandhan has maintained its lead in 95 constituencies.

The BJP-JDU-led NDA has maintained a huge initial lead. While the NDA is ahead in 120 seats overall, the opposition alliance Mahaghatabandhan candidates are leading in 95 seats. Others are four places ahead. The fate of candidates who contested in 243 constituencies of 38 districts of the state will be decided today. Meanwhile, the counting of votes for the by-elections of 8 assembly constituencies of 6 states and 1 union territory has also started. It remains to be seen who will reach the magic number 122 required for majority in the 243-member Bihar Assembly.
