Hyderabad: President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and a well-known face of Indian politics, Asaduddin Owaisi, says that the Muslim population in India will never exceed the Hindu population. Owaisi, MP from Hyderabad, said this while addressing a rally in Nizamabad on Friday night before the municipal elections in Telangana.

Mentioned PM Modi’s speech

Owaisi said that he was listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent speech in the Rajya Sabha, in which he had said that the population of the entire world is aging while India’s population is young. AIMIM chief Owaisi asked, “If the Prime Minister is asked that 60 percent of the country’s population is below 40 years of age, then what measures has he (Modi) taken for their employment and what skills has he taught them?”

Muslim population will not exceed Hindus

Owaisi said, “After 20 years, this young population will become old. We do not even think about how much inflation will increase and how much they will have to spend. Instead, they say that the population of Muslims is increasing. The Muslim population will become stable. The population of Muslims in India will never exceed the population of Hindus.” Owaisi said, “Now they understand that after 25-30 years, the country’s population will become old. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat says that at least three children should be born. Although he himself does not do so, that is a different matter.”

He said, “Earlier it was said that a bill will be brought for population control and they used to criticize Muslims. Now they have realized what effect it will have on the country when its population will age.”

You are sitting silently and listening to everything – Owaisi

On Pakistan boycotting the match against India in the T20 World Cup, Owaisi said that India is hosting and the ‘useless’ Pakistani team is saying that it will not play the match against India. He said, “You should have told them (Pakistan) why you came here and if you will not play then leave from here. But you are sitting silently and listening to everyone.” Owaisi did not stop here. He also accused the Modi government of maintaining silence on the China (border) issue.
