New Delhi: Now the summer season has slowly started knocking across the country. An increase in temperature is being recorded in the states from North India to South India. Due to the heat, it is becoming difficult for people to go out during the day. However, the Meteorological Department has indicated relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in most of the states of the country in the coming days. At the same time, due to rain, a drop in temperature will also be recorded, due to which people will get relief from the heat.

Relief from heat in Delhi-NCR

The Meteorological Department said that a new Western Disturbance may affect North-West India from March 14. Due to this, there may be rain in some states of the country including Delhi. The sky will be cloudy in Delhi-NCR on March 15. During this period, there may be light rain in the entire NCR including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram. Rain activities may continue till March 17. There may be light rain with thunder in the morning or afternoon. Winds can blow at a speed of 10 km per hour in the afternoon. However, even today light clouds can be seen in the sky.

Rain alert in UP-Bihar also

The weather department has also alerted about rain in UP-Bihar. Talking about Uttar Pradesh, here too there may be light rain with thunder on 15th and 16th March. According to the Meteorological Department, along with rain in UP, there is also a possibility of lightning along with strong winds at some places. Apart from this, if we talk about Bihar, here also the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain with thunderstorm and lightning. In Bihar also, rain may start after March 15, which will continue till March 17. Strong winds may also blow during this period.

Chances of rain in these states also

Talking about other states of the country, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding light rain as well as snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from March 15 to 18. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya even today. According to the Meteorological Department, rain will continue here till March 15. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha. The Meteorological Department has asked farmers to remain alert. Whereas for Gujarat, Saurashtra-Kutch and South-West Madhya Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has not given any indication of relief from the heat. People here may have to face heatwave.
