Produced and directed by Luv Ranjan, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. Stars like Boney Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Harleen Kaur and Inayat Verma have been seen with him. In India, the film did a net business of Rs 147.28 crore, while its worldwide earning crossed Rs 223 crore.
‘Kesari’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’
Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Kesari’ was released in theaters on March 21, 2019. This historical war-drama film directed by Anurag Singh had earned around Rs 155.70 crore in India. Its worldwide earning had crossed Rs 208 crore. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ also hit the theaters to double the Holi celebrations. It earned Rs 117.89 crore at the domestic box office and Rs 201.07 crore worldwide.
‘Race’ and ‘Baaghi 3’
The film ‘Race’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna and Katrina Kaif was released on March 21, 2008. At that time, it created a stir at the box office in terms of earnings. It earned Rs 60.64 crore in India and Rs 103.73 crore worldwide. Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 3’, released on Holi, also went ahead in terms of earnings. The film’s domestic box office collection was Rs 96.5 crore, while the worldwide collection was Rs 137 crore.
