Bangalore: Harini, a missing 13-year-old girl, was brought safely to her grandmother’s house through a humane and timely operation by the Kumaraswamy Layout Police team in Bangalore. This work has been widely appreciated by the public sector.

A 13-year-old girl, Harini, who was staying at Bilidegalu hostel in Mandya, arrived at Banashankari bus stand on Friday afternoon to go to her grandmother’s house in Konanakunte, Bengaluru. However, after getting down at the bus stop, she did not know the correct address or route to her grandmother’s house. A confused girl was sitting alone in front of the Banashankari temple.

An alert member of the public noticed the girl sitting alone and immediately called the emergency number 112 and informed the police. The complaint was transferred from the 112 control room to the Hoysala 154 patrol vehicle team. ASI Jayaramayya, HC 11331 Mahesh CN, a police constable of Hoysala 154, immediately rushed to the spot. Banashankari found the girl sitting near the temple and had a conversation. It was through her that he traced the address of grandmother Kamalamma in Konanakunte. After ensuring the safety of the girl, the police then took her in their vehicle and brought her safely to her grandmother’s house at around 11.30 pm.

.Public and citizens have appreciated the timely action of ASI Jayaramayya and HC Mahesh CN who rescued the girl and helped the worried family.
