Truck container falls on car, painful death of software engineer, heart-wrenching VIDEO

Bengaluru/Chittoor: Anudeep, a 28-year-old software engineer, died in a heart-wrenching accident on Friday morning on the Chittoor-Bengaluru National Highway in Karnataka. A video of the incident has also surfaced in which the container of the speeding truck suddenly tilted towards the right and fell on Anudeep’s car, completely crushing his car. The accident was so terrible that Anudeep died on the spot. He was a resident of Ramapuram village in Gudipala mandal, located near Chittoor.

Anudeep had gone to work as usual

On Friday too, Anudeep had left home as usual and was going to work in his IT company in Bengaluru. This accident happened near Iruvaram cross just minutes after leaving home. It is seen in the video that the truck was going at a high speed, suddenly its container tilted towards the right and fell on the car. Eyewitnesses said that the truck already seemed unbalanced, then suddenly this accident happened. Police reached the spot and started investigation and took the truck driver into custody.

High speed seems to be the cause of the accident

In the initial investigation, the high speed of the lorry is being said to be the main reason. Police are further investigating mechanical failure or negligence by the driver. After the accident, there was a jam on the highway for a long time. Police restored traffic by removing the debris with the help of earthmover. Police have registered a case in this matter and investigation into the accident is ongoing.

A painful accident happened in Jharkhand also

On Friday itself, a tragic accident took place in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. A container truck driver from West Bengal collided with a trailer moving ahead while traveling at high speed in Chuttupalu valley on NH-33. It is believed that the collision occurred due to brake failure. After the collision, the truck caught fire and the driver got trapped in the cabin and burnt alive. Fire department personnel extinguished the fire after which a charred body, believed to be that of the driver from Malda district, was recovered from the cabin. Police are contacting the driver’s family and the truck owner has been informed.
