But Aditya Dhar, who has given two super hit movies and is now gearing up to give another blockbuster movie with ‘Dhurandhar 2’, came to the film industry by chance. Originally his dream was to become a cricketer.
Aditya Dhar, originally a Kashmiri Pandit. Education was not easy for Aditya who suffered from dyslexia in his childhood. But later, Aditya became interested in sports and dreamed of becoming a cricketer. Aditya also got cricket coaching. He also gave trials to Under 19 with the dream of playing cricket for India. But according to his own claim, he did not get a place in the Indian Under-19 team due to some politics. In the same boredom, he quit cricket.
But Aditya’s life changed with the release of the movie ‘Gardish’ in 1993. Aditya Dhar, who was greatly influenced by the film ‘Gardish’ starring Jackie Shroff and directed by Priyadarshan, decided that he should become a film director and entered the film industry. He joined director Priyadarshan as an assistant director. Initially also wrote some stories but there too he had to face some injustices. According to director Priyadarshan, in the beginning it was as if someone else had stolen his stories. As if they were not even given marks for the work they did.
