Akshay Kumar has talked about acting in a film like ‘Dhurandhar’. In a recent interview, he opened up about the changing paradigm of the film industry and Ranveer Singh’s role in ‘Dhurandhar’.
Akshay Kumar spoke during ‘India Today Conclave’. ‘This film industry is like a circle. This industry changes every two to three years. Our audience changes according to its demands,” said Akshay Kumar.
‘You see the example of the film ‘Dhurandhar’. It is an action film and there is a lot of bloodshed in it. People liked this movie very much. He enjoyed it. In this, Ranveer Singh has acted well in this film. Five to six years ago I made some films on social issues. They were successful. Now it’s time for horror comedies. A film like Shree has run very well. . So everything keeps changing and we don’t know what the audience will like next,” he said.

When asked if he regrets not getting a role in a film like ‘Dhurandhar’ or is jealous, Akshay said, ‘Aditya didn’t think it was right for me to play a gangster in Lyari Gang. He didn’t think so. That’s why I didn’t get the role. When I met Ranveer, he praised my work. He wants to play some of my roles. Similarly I want to play some of his roles. In Hindi cinema we have 15 to 20 actors and 180 films are made in India. Everyone has a role. “I feel sorry that we get to play such roles, but there is no jealousy in it,” he said.
