Mani Ratnam, who is directing a new film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi, has roped in a young music director for the film. 21-year-old Sai Abhyankar will score the music for Mani Ratnam’s film. Mani Ratnam’s choice of a young music director has left many in awe.
Mani Ratnam has been involved in film direction for the last 43 years. Mani Ratnam is one of the best film directors of India. He has worked with only two music directors in his long film career. Ilayaraja gave music for his first 10 movies. Later, AR Rahman gave the music for the 1992 movie ‘Roja’. Mani Ratnam is now replacing the music director after 34 years, and Sai Abhayankar will give the music for Bahosa.
