Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is a mix of mythological and fantasy. As the name suggests, this movie is set in the year 2898. The first part of the movie was released in 2024. The movie was a hit of course. Now the shooting of the second part of the movie is going on in full swing. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan were involved in the shooting of the movie. It is said that Amitabh Bachchan has returned to Mumbai after completing the shooting of his part. Kamal has also finished shooting for many parts. The hero of the movie Prabhas has now started shooting for the second part of ‘Kalki’. Actor Dulquer Salmaan has also started shooting for the movie with him. The next leg of the film is being shot in Hyderabad and Dulquer Salmaan, Prabhas along with JD Chakraborty are also involved in the shooting in this schedule.
Prabhas, who has recently completed the shooting of Hanupudi’s ‘Fauji’, has started the film ‘Spirit’ with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It seems that he has taken a break from there and participated in the shooting. Prabhas, who shined as Bhairav in the first part, will sizzle as Karna in the second part. Also, it is said that he will appear more powerful than the first part. Dulquer Salmaan played the role of Prabhas’s foster father in the first part. Now he is back to play the same role again. JD Chakraborty will shine in the role of the villain.

Actress Deepika Padukone played the female lead in the first part. But he has walked out of the film and talks are said to be going on to replace him with actress Sai Pallavi.
