Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandahr 2’ is doing well at the box office. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this movie tells the story of an Indian soldier who goes to Pakistan as a spy and fights alone against terrorists there. As everyone knows, shooting of Indian films in Pakistan is not permitted. Also there will be a security problem. For this reason, director Aditya Dhar has shot the movie in different locations. The movie has been shot especially in some parts of India and Thailand. Especially while shooting the movie in India, the film team also faced some problems.
Major portions of the film were shot in Khera village near Ludhiana, Punjab. Some of the alleys here were set up to look like Pakistan’s ‘Lari’ area. There was curiosity and some confusion among the locals when Pakistani flags were put up here for filming. As some have even questioned. Also, shooting took place at Suvarna Mandir in Amritsar and Sahnewal Airport in Ludhiana.
Some scenes in Karachi, Pakistan and the film’s cinematic action and some chase scenes were shot in Thailand. The film’s interiors and some coastal scenes were shot at Filmistan Studios and Mud Island in Mumbai. Action scenes were also shot on the Dombivali-Mankoli bridge. The snowy mountains of Ladakh and the beautiful locales of Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh have been used for some of the suspenseful scenes in the film.

Director Aditya Dhar has created Pakistan without going to Pakistan. Released on March 19, this movie has been released not only in Hindi but also in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. It is doing great collection at the box office. Ranveer Singh excels in the role of a spy named ‘Jaskirat Singh Rangi’ alias Hamza Ali Mazari. Along with him, Sanjay Dutt (Chaudhary Aslam), Arjun Rampal (Major Iqbal), R Madhavan (Ajay Sanyal) and Akshay Khanna (Rahman Dakait) are in the lead roles. The film clocks in at 3 hours and 49 minutes, making it one of the biggest action films of recent years.
