On that day, the Cordelia cruise ship was legally attacked after receiving information. A few people including Aryan Khan were arrested,’ the lawyer told the bench.
What is Rs 25 crore? Bribery scam?
According to the FIR registered by the CBI on 11 May 2023, Shah Rukh Khan was demanded Rs 25 crore not to implicate Aryan Khan in the October 2021 drug case. Later there is a serious allegation that the amount of this bribe was reduced to 18 crore rupees. Not only Wankhede, but then NCB SP Vishwa Vijay Singh, Kiran Gosavi and many others are named in it.
Aryan Khan got a ‘clean chit’
Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3, 2021. However, an internal investigation conducted by the Special Investigation Team of NCB revealed that Aryan Khan was not involved in any major drug racket. Aryan Khan was given a clean chit after the Wankhede team was found not to have followed proper procedure in seizing the phone and recording the statement during the investigation.
