Kantara Chapter 1 directed by Rishabh Shetty (Kantara Chapter 1) Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who was in trouble for making a controversial statement about the movie, has already apologized. However, the complainants continued their legal battle. Ranveer Singh has filed an application in the Karnataka High Court seeking quashing of the FIR registered against him. Ranveer Singh, who has already apologized for his controversial statement through his social media X (Twitter) account, is ready to express his remorse legally. His lawyer told the High Court bench that he would submit an official apology certificate to the court.
Prashant Metal, the complainant in the case, has objected to Ranveer Singh’s apology. “Just apologizing on a tweet or paper is not enough. Ranveer Singh must have real remorse. He has argued that he should personally visit the Chavundi temple and seek forgiveness from the deity.
Responding to the demand of the complainant, Ranveer Singh’s lawyer clarified that ‘he will visit the Chavundi temple and apologize and submit a certificate to the court along with it’. Following this development, a single-judge bench of the High Court adjourned the hearing of the case to April 10.
