Now the High Court has given another big shock to Gautam.
In a case related to Gautham Vasudev Menon, the Madras High Court ruled that Rs 4.25 crore along with interest should be paid to a company named RS Infotainment within a specified date. This is a big shock for Gautham Vasudev Menon who is already losing a lot.
This is the controversy that took place in 2008. In 2008 Gautham Vasudev Menon was going to direct a new movie which was produced by S Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment. Elred Kumar also gave an advance amount for the project. But the movie never started. But Gautham did not return the advance amount. But Gautham said that he used that advance for the movie ‘Nee Dane En Ponvasantham’ released in 2012. But no proper evidence has been given for it. S Elred Kumar filed a complaint in 2013 for the same reason. Now, as directed by the Madras High Court, he has to pay Rs 4.25 crore and an additional amount of Rs 12 lakh.

Gautham Vasudev Menon, has given some cult classic movies. ‘Minnale’, ‘Rehana Hai Tere Dil Mein’, ‘Kaka Kaka’, ‘Vetteyadu Vileyadu’, ‘Varanam Aayirum’, ‘Yeh Maya Chesave’ have given many more blockbuster movies. But the movie ‘Dhruva Nachtathiram’ directed by him has not been released for many years. This movie, which was supposed to be released in 2017, has not been released due to financial problems and court issues. Gautham said that he will not make a new film unless that film is released. While the movie ‘Dhruva Nachatthiram’ is in trouble, now the Madras High Court has given another shock to Gautham.
