Bollywood’s veteran actor Anupam Kher (Anupam Kher) has been acting for the last 44 years. So far he has acted in more than 500 movies. He started acting in 1982. His second movie of acting and the movie that gave Anupam Kher a big mark was ‘Saaramsh’. The movie was directed by Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt. He became a big star after ‘Saaransh’. Anupam Kher considers and worships Mahesh Bhatt as his Guru since then. That is the extent of Guru Bhakti that Anupam Kher sends 25 thousand rupees to Mahesh Bhatt for every movie he accepts.
Recently Anupam Kher spoke about his relationship with Mahesh Bhatt in a show. He gives 25,000 rupees from the remuneration of every movie he acts to his guru Mahesh Bhatt. ‘This is my respect and gurudakshina to him. He was the one who gave me life in 1984 with the film ‘Saramsh’. Since then till today I have continued this tradition,’ said Kher.
In the same interview, the 69-year-old actor also talked about his fitness and said that even at this age, he wants to display a six pack or a good body. ‘I want to show off my body. I want people to marvel at my fitness. I am doing hard exercises for that’, he said. Anupam Kher, a 28-year-old actor, was given the role of a 65-year-old man by Mahesh Bhatt. Sanjeev Kumar was initially chosen for the role, but Bhatt believed in Kher’s talent and gave it a go.

Asked if director Mahesh Bhatt would accept the money, Kher had earlier said, ‘He will accept it with love, it is a sign of trust and respect between us.’ Anupam Kher has been spending a lot of time in yoga and gym in recent years. Like Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan, his goal for his latest movies is to have a fit body.
Anupam Kher has also acted in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, English, Chinese, Bengali and Kannada movies. Anupam Kher acted in Shivraj Kumar’s super hit movie ‘Ghost’. He also acted in the Kannada movie ‘Parijata’ which was released in 2012.
