Valmiki Corporation’s multi -crore scam – Btv Kannada

Bellary: The Valmiki Development Corporation’s grant misuse has been raided today in Bellary and Vijayanagar districts. The raid is being held in the wake of serious allegations that crores of rupees have been allocated during the Lok Sabha elections.

It has been alleged that the Valmiki corporation’s grant was used to fund voters in the election and has been allocated more than Rs 21 crore. Preliminary information is available in Bellary Nagar, Bellary Rural, Sandur, Kampli and Koodligi Assembly constituencies. ED officials have simultaneously raided the residence and offices of the major politicians in Bellary district in connection with this financial irregularity.

Leading leaders who have undergone ED attacks:

• Bellary Lok Sabha MP – Tukaram (Sandur)
• Bellary Municipal Councilor – Nara Bharat Reddy
• Koodligi – MLA Srinivasa
• Kampli MLA – Ganesh
• Former minister Nagendra PA Gorvadhan also attacked the house

Operation in eight teams: ED officials from Delhi have split in eight teams and started the operation early in the morning and are conducting searches in residence and home offices of lawmakers and MPs. Many documents and laptops, mobile and bank records are being reviewed.
