VIDEO: Truck fell down while crossing the bridge amid heavy rains, laden with iron channel

The continuous torrential rains in Belpahar, Odisha have disturbed life. On Sunday evening, a heavy truck uncontrollably rolled down from the bridge on the Chouiri Mahul bridge connecting Belpahar-Hemgir in a severe accident. After this incident, the route from Belpahar to Sundargarh and Hemgir has completely closed, due to which the local people are facing a lot of trouble.

Rapid flow of water on the bridge

The accident occurred when there was a strong flow of water on the Chouni Mahul bridge due to heavy rains. Meanwhile, while crossing a truck laden with an iron channel coming from Sundargarh from Sundargarh, he lost his control and fell down directly.

Way completely blocked

It is a matter of honor that there is no news of any kind of loss of life in this accident, but the truck has suffered a lot. Even after the incident, there is a strong flow of water over the Chouri Mahul bridge, causing the path to be completely blocked. The people of the area are now looking for alternative routes.

Bridge in weak position

It is also being reported that the Chouri Mahul bridge was already in a weak position and was not suitable for the movement of heavy vehicles. The continuous rains made the bridge situation even worse, due to which the accident occurred. Efforts are being made by the administration to smooth the route and normalize the situation.
