‘Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri has come into the news for his upcoming project. It is reported that he is making a film based on India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ for which he has joined hands with T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar.
pinkvilla A report in India reported that the project would be inspired by the “codenames of India’s military strikes on terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK)”. Agnihotri has responded to these discussions.

India Today Speaking to PTI, Agnihotri said he is working on a “big nationalist project”. However, he clearly refused to give more information about this. Refusing to confirm or deny the news, he said, “I am not revealing anyone’s name. All I am saying is that I am working on a big nationalist project. I will announce it when the time comes. It is a very big and interesting project.”

Know what is ‘Operation Sindoor’
After the terrorist attack on civilians in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, 2025, the Indian Armed Forces took a major military action against terrorist bases located in Pakistan and POK. India had given this retaliation the codename ‘Operation Sindoor’. Its objective was to destroy terrorist launchpads and stop infiltration across the border.
