What is Japan’s Luna Ring Project?

This scheme has been introduced by Japanese engineering company Shimizu Corporation. According to this, a long belt of solar panels will be made around the equator of the Moon. This ring will extend for about 6,800 miles i.e. about 11,000 kilometers and its width is said to be about 400 kilometers. Solar panels will be installed on this huge structure which will continuously generate energy from sunlight in space.

How will the construction work be done in the project?
