Wherever Congress and Left come to power, they destroy everything – PM Modi

Palakkad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigned in Palakkad for the Kerala Assembly elections. During this, while addressing a public meeting, he accused Congress and Left parties of pushing the state into economic crisis. He said that the country is witness to the fact that wherever Congress and Leftists ruled, there was destruction instead of development.

PM Modi said, “Congress and the Left have a track record that wherever they come to power, they ruin everything. The entire country knows what the Left did in Bengal and Tripura; everyone has also seen what the Congress did in the entire country. Kerala has also fallen prey to these nefarious schemes of theirs. There are reports of delays in payment of salaries of government employees from here. Recently, in Kerala, A big controversy had arisen regarding the payments of DA and leave encashment. Even where Congress is in power, the situation is worse; most of the development works are at a standstill there. This is the Congress model.

West Asia was also mentioned

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his government is continuously working to ensure that the ongoing war in West Asia has minimal impact on India. He also accused Congress of making dangerous comments that put the lives of Indians at risk for political gains. He said that many people from Kerala are working in conflict-torn areas and stressed that their safety is our top priority. He said, “At this moment everyone’s attention is focused on the ongoing war in West Asia. Our government is continuously making efforts to ensure that it has minimal impact on India.

Indian Embassy working 24 hours

Highlighting the ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace in West Asia, Modi said, “Since the beginning of the war, I have been in constant touch with the heads of state of all these countries. All nations are giving priority to the safety of Indians stranded in conflict-torn areas.” He said Indian embassies abroad are working round the clock to assist their citizens. “Indian embassies are also working day and night to ensure that our brothers and sisters there do not face any kind of difficulty,” Modi said. Protecting the interests of Indians is the top priority for the BJP-NDA government.

Taking aim at the Congress, the Prime Minister said, “You should also remember what kind of statements the Congress is making on this sensitive issue – they are dangerous. Congress wants to put the lives of about one crore Indians living in Gulf countries in danger, so that it can take political advantage from it.
