Why did Owaisi describe Revanth Reddy as Yogi? Said- ‘Now the Muslim is not going to sit silent’

Hyderabad: AIMIM leader in Telangana Akbaruddin Owaisi has compared Chief Minister Revanth Reddy with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that both target Muslims and there is no difference between them. Akbaruddin made this statement in a meeting, where he held Congress responsible for the plight of Muslims. After this, both BJP and Congress retaliated against Owaisi by raising different issues. After Akbaruddin, his brother and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi also cornered BJP on the issue of Israel.

‘Yogi demolishes houses with bulldozers, Reddy demolishes mosques’

AIMIM claimed that BJP and Congress are together in Telangana. The party says that there is no difference between the two parties. AIMIM supremo’s younger brother and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi said, ‘Yogi Adityanath demolishes houses with bulldozers in UP and Revanth Reddy is demolishing mosques here. The targets of both are Muslims. They neither like hijab nor dargah. Whenever it comes to Muslims, both the parties become united. Akbaruddin made even more serious allegations against Congress. He said that in Telangana alone, during the two years of Congress rule, government bulldozers ran on 6 mosques.

‘All parties cheat Muslims, don’t trust anyone’

Akbaruddin then mentioned Babri Masjid and said, ‘Till now Muslims have forgiven Congress for every crime, but now enough is enough. Now the Muslim is not going to remain silent. He appealed to the Muslims not to trust any party, because all the parties cheat the Muslims. He said, ‘It is only AIMIM, only Owaisi, who stands firmly with the Muslims.’ BJP expressed strong objection to this statement of Akbaruddin. BJP MP Raghunandan Rao said, ‘Every child of Telangana knows that Owaisi brothers always support Congress. They live together in the government too, but abuse Congress for misleading the public.

‘Small Owaisi is sowing seeds of hatred in the minds of children’

Rao said that Akbaruddin has said provocative things among the students. He further said, ‘Little Owaisi is sowing the seeds of hatred in the minds of children, hence he should be arrested.’ When Owaisi took the name of Rahul Gandhi and compared Revanth Reddy with Yogi, Congress also jumped into the fray. Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said, ‘The truth is that Yogi Adityanath and Owaisi are twin brothers. Both are similar regarding fundamentalist thinking. When politics took place in the name of UP in Hyderabad, Yogi government minister OP Rajbhar said, ‘No respectable person’s house has been destroyed in UP till date. Yogi has bulldozed only the houses of dishonest people and criminals.

‘Asaduddin Owaisi called Benjamin Netanyahu a criminal’

Meanwhile, Asaduddin Owaisi also jumped into the field. He cornered BJP on the issue of Israel. Owaisi called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a criminal and held him responsible for thousands of deaths in Gaza. Revanth Reddy is being attacked from both sides. While AIMIM describes him as Yogi, BJP accuses him of appeasement of Muslims. Political experts say that in such a situation Revanth Reddy is benefiting from both sides. Now, it remains to be seen which direction the politics of the state will take in future.
