Sangeeta has filed a divorce petition from Vijay after 26 years of marriage. Both of them got married in August 1999 and have 2 children. In the petition, Sangeeta has alleged that Vijay has an affair with an actress, about which she came to know in 2021. Sangeeta claims that Vijay had promised to end the relationship, but it continued and Vijay gradually distanced himself from her.
