PM Modi Interview: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said many important things in his interview regarding budget, FTA, increasing defense budget and benefits for MSME sector. On the question of helping and strengthening the country’s defense forces, PM Modi said that whatever the government has to do, it will do. At the same time, on trade deals, Prime Minister Modi said that political stability and political predictability have restored the confidence of investors in our country. This year’s budget shows India’s desire to become a developed country. ‘Now or never’ is not an opportunity born out of compulsion, rather it is a ‘we are ready’ moment born out of preparation and inspiration.
MSMEs of our country will benefit from FTA
PM Modi said on Free Trade Agreement with 38 countries, ‘Strong manufacturing, service sector, MSME help India negotiate trade deals strongly. The objective of our FTA is to expand market access for MSMEs in textiles, leather, chemicals, handicrafts, gems and other sectors.
Government’s responsibility to modernize defense
While talking about the growth in the defense sector, PM Modi said, ‘It is the responsibility of the government to modernize the defense sector as per the current situation.’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the ‘economic mismanagement’ of the UPA government, saying that it had not left our country in a position to negotiate with confidence.
There was no result in UPA government
PM Modi said, ‘During the UPA government, talks used to start and then break down, but despite long talks, no concrete results could be achieved. Reforms are our government’s commitment, which it has shown in words and spirit. Private sectors are important for the next phase of economic transformation, there is an appeal to them to give a ‘decisive response’.
