Yadagiri: Former minister Raju Gowda has appealed to CM Siddaramaiah to continue with the sincere bold police superintendent Prithvik Shankar in the Yadagiri district.

Mandya -based Khadak IPS officer Prithvik Shankar, who was appointed as the SP of Yadagiri, has maintained peace and order in the district in just 7 months. Prithvik Shankar, an efficient loyal police officer, has been transferred by the political system, causing the outrage of the people of the district. “I am bored with personal,” he said.

He had begun the operation against the irregularities since the day he was sworn in and threatened to the insurgents. As a result, there are also allegations that the government is in the process of transferring the SP in the wake of the pressure of an influential legislator. Shankar, who had taken Khadak steps, had failed to sand the illegal insurgents. It is said that Shankar’s transfer order will come in two days.

Frustrated by this, former minister Raju Gowda has written to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to prevent SP Prithvik Shankar’s transfer order. Shankar’s service is essential for the district. The letter said that the honest officer was not allowed to work.

Former minister Raju Gowda has appealed to the people to be withdrawn and allowed the transfer in the district before the people fought for the level of unpleasant and illegal activities.
